Youth Soccer and Futsal Camp Coach

Position Type: Seasonal / Part-Time

Overview:
Join an exciting and youth soccer and futsal camp led by former Portland Timbers player Larrys Mabiala, former international pro Marvin Torvic, and their experienced coaching team. We are seeking passionate, reliable, and energetic coaches to assist in delivering a high-quality training experience for players of all levels, ages 8-15.

Responsibilities:

• Assist lead coaches in implementing a professional training curriculum focused on technical skill development, tactical awareness, and game intelligence
   
• Support daily training sessions for soccer and futsal, ensuring a safe, fun, and inclusive environment
   
• Help with camp setup and breakdown each day
   
• Provide positive feedback and individual attention to players throughout the sessions
   
• Maintain professionalism and represent the program with enthusiasm and integrity
   
• Collaborate with the coaching staff to ensure smooth and organized camp operations
   

Qualifications:

• Playing or coaching experience in soccer and/or futsal (high school varsity, college, or professional levels preferred)
   
• Comfortable working with youth ages 8-15 in a dynamic environment
   
• Strong communication and leadership skills
   
• Positive attitude and commitment to learning and development
   
• Ability to take direction and work as part of a coaching team

Location/Dates/Times:

• Futsal camps will take place at the Beaverton YMCA.
   
• Soccer camps will take place at Hidden Creek East Park, and surrounding Beaverton area.
• July 7th-11th | 9am-3pm
• July 14th-18th | 9am-3pm
• August 11th-15th | 9am-3pm
• August 18th-22nd |9am-3pm
• Potentially July 27th-August 1st, and August 4th-8th
