Position: Youth Sports Coach (Part-Time)
Job Hours (5-20 hours per week)
Monday–Friday: ~2 PM to 7 PM (shifts range from 1 to 4 hours)
Saturdays: ~9 AM to 2 PM (shifts range from 3 to 5 hours)
Salary Range
- Competitive, between $18–23 per hour (Monthly bonus opportunities!!)
Must-Have Requirements
- Available for staff training on Saturday, Sept 6
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Must pass a background check
- Previous experience in sports, coaching, or childcare
- Ability to work at least 3 days/week, with Saturdays preferred
Preferred Certifications:
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- SafeSport, NAYS, ASEP, or other youth-sport coaching certifications highly encouraged
What You'll Do
- Lead exciting, age-appropriate training sessions across sports like basketball, soccer, flag football, baseball, volleyball, and more.
- Follow and deliver our well-organized practice plans.
- Track participant progress and offer encouraging, constructive feedback.
- Create a fun, inclusive, and safe learning atmosphere.
- Lead drills, games, and scrimmages independently or collaboratively with a coaching partner
What We're Looking For
- Passionate about working with kids (ages 3–12) and playing sports.
- Great communicator who can motivate and build rapport with both athletes and their parents.
- Dependable and organized—with attention to safety and equipment care.
- Ability to transport sports equipment to and from camp sites
