Starting Pay: $15.00/hour
Job Type: Part-Time Contractor
Schedule: Saturdays required (6–7 week sessions) + possible weekday opportunities
Location: Locations vary by season within Utah County

i9 Sports is seeking energetic and enthusiastic Tennis Instructors to lead beginner-level lessons for young players in a supportive and fun environment. Whether you're a former player, a coach, or just passionate about teaching, this is a great opportunity to make a positive impact on kids through the game of tennis.

This role is perfect for players, college students, coaches, or instructors looking for a fulfilling part-time role with flexible scheduling options.

Schedule & Season Commitment:

Core requirement: Saturdays only for 6–7 consecutive weeks

Additional weekday hours may be available depending on instructor availability and program needs

Instructors must be able to commit to all Saturday sessions for the season

Weekday sessions, if available, will be scheduled in advance

Key Responsibilities:

Lead beginner youth tennis instruction (ages 4–14)

Teach tennis fundamentals in a fun, supportive environment

Manage simple setup and equipment on the court

Maintain a safe, structured, and positive experience

Communicate clearly with parents, players, and staff

Requirements:

2+ years of tennis experience (playing, coaching, or instructing)

Comfortable leading small groups of children in a structured setting

Energetic, dependable, and enthusiastic about working with kids

Own a smartphone with internet access

Must pass a National Criminal Background Check

Reliable transportation to courts throughout Utah County

This Position is Ideal For:

College tennis players or recent grads looking to stay involved

Coaches or instructors seeking flexible, part-time hours

People who love teaching and making tennis fun for kids

Individuals interested in weekend work with optional weekday flexibility

Saturdays are required, but for those interested, additional weekday hours may be offered based on demand. If you’re passionate about tennis and excited to help kids grow on and off the court, we’d love to have you on our team.

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
