Responsibilities
• Engages patients and resolves issues • Counsels patients on medication usage • Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding and drug therapy reviews • Ensures pharmacy operates in accordance with regulations • Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems and seeks productivity improvements • Processes insurance claims and follows up with insurance companies • Follows up with medical providers' offices • Performs clinical and wellness services • Analyzes performance data and develops connections with medical community • Assists with patient registration and resolves issues
Requirements
• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree • Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district • Experience in prescription dispensing and knowledge of controlled substance laws • Certified Immunizer or willing to become one • At least 1 year experience in a retail pharmacy setting
