Job summary
Performs all duties related to dishwashing and maintaining general cleanliness of the kitchen area. Ensures a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members at all times. Supports WFM core values and goals, promotes national, regional, and store programs and initiatives.

Responsibilities
• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares. • Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area. • Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products. • Provides excellent customer service and models suggestive selling techniques. • Maximizes sales potential through effective procedures for product prepping, stocking, and merchandising. • Follows established procedures for health and sanitation, and safe work practices. • Maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment. • Performs opening, mid, and closing duties. • Reports safety hazards and violations. • Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.

• Effective time management and organization skills. • Passion for cleanliness. • Strong to excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team. • Ability to meet customer service expectations and standards. • Ability to follow directions and procedures. • Understanding of and compliance with WFM quality goals. • No prior retail experience required. • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
