Business Development Associate

Job Description:

Domtar is seeking a part-time Business Development Associate to join our team in San Francisco, California. As an Entry Level position, this role is perfect for someone with at least 1 year of experience looking to jumpstart their career in business development. We are looking for someone who is adaptable and passionate about growing our business, with strong teamwork and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities: - Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities - Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients - Create and deliver sales presentations to key stakeholders - Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategies for business growth - Assist in the preparation of proposals and contracts - Track and report on sales performance metrics - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitors - Support the Business Development Manager in all aspects of the sales process

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field - 1 year of experience in sales or business development - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficient in Microsoft Office suite - Adaptable and passionate about achieving business goals - Soft skills in teamwork and decision-making
