Associate Design Director
Our client is currently seeking a talented and experienced Associate Design Director (ADD) with a strong focus on brand identity and expertise in directing video/motion projects. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting their Brand Refresh initiative, leading the concepting and production execution of launch events. This individual will be responsible for driving the conceptualization of brand identity design, emphasizing authenticity and innovation, while also overseeing the direction of video and motion elements to enhance brand storytelling.

This role is a part-time role and is fully remote.

Associate Design Director Responsibilities

Lead the conceptualization and development of brand identity design, ensuring alignment with the client's vision and objectives.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate brand strategy into compelling visual concepts and experiences.

Direct video and motion projects, from initial concept to final execution, maintaining a cohesive brand narrative across all touchpoints.

Provide creative direction and mentorship to design teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

Stay current with industry trends and best practices in branding, video production, and motion design to drive continuous improvement.

Oversee the quality assurance process to ensure deliverables meet client expectations and project requirements.

Act as a brand ambassador, effectively communicating design concepts and rationale to internal stakeholders and clients.

Associate Design Director Qualifications

Proven experience in brand identity design, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.

Demonstrated expertise in directing video/motion projects, with a thorough understanding of storytelling techniques and visual communication principles.

Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.).

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.

Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Experience working with clients in diverse industries is a plus.

Passion for creativity and innovation, with a commitment to pushing boundaries and challenging the status quo.

Compensation: Pay is determined by the candidate's location and level of experience.
