Job Description • Behaves and acts in an exemplary fashion, embodying the brand mindset• The Director of Sales & Marketing is to promote the hotel in his/her assigned area/territory and to achieve optimal sales at the best possible conditions for the company to update with the market.• Performs his/her duties within the framework defined by the Brand's and hotel'ss norms and by internal regulations (SOPs).• Translates the Pullman mindset to guests, embodying sociability and proximity.• Entertains supporting and prospective clients when necessary in order to maintain or develop a long-lasting and growing relationship.• Maintains regular contacts with his/her clients and report any adverse comments to the management for rectification.• Is the primary contact of point for "Sales" customers - approaching them, negotiating and closing the deal with them.• Is totally responsible for their satisfaction from the first contact until after the sale.• Makes sure that guests' feedback is taken seriously.• Listens to customer requirements and presents appropriately to make a sale.• In collaboration with all departments ensures that the hotel delivers the brand's customer promise.Sales Responsiblities:• Identifies business potential and upkeeps close contact with former and potential clients through personal visits, phone calls and correspondence in view of entering into contracts with them, especially with corporate accounts.• Accomplishes goals and to adhere to quota as set out in the marketing plan.• Ensures that the sales team meet clients requirement and that the client service offered corresponds effectively to their requests. In the event of complaints made by clients, should the need arise, to avail him/herself as mediator between the hotel and clients & guests.• Ensures the availability of after-sales services and, in particular, concerns him/herself with clients who have registered complaints.• Draws up together with the sales team, sales promotions and packages.• Enters into negotiations on behalf of the company as and when required to do so taking care not to exceed the limit of his/her authority.• Establishes regular contact with major associations and government departments which specialize in corporate business.• Confirms verbal proposals in writing.• Is aware at all times of hotel’s special program/promotions and advertising schedule of it in order to deal knowledgeably with clients.• Maximizes Accor hotels market share within his/her area/territory.• Organizes and attends trade shows when requested.Public Relations responsibilities:• Develops and fosters good rapport with the public, clients and members of the trade in an effort to ensure and promote a good image of the hotel.• Ensures all sales advertising and public relations efforts provide optimum profit returns.• Maintains contacts with professional people, the press, media, government officials, corporate companies and with any persons who are clients or potential clients as well as Accor’s Sales and Reservation offices.• Will not (either during of after his/her employment) without the company’s written consent, divulge any information concerning the hotel or any of its dealings, transactions or affairs which may come to his/her knowledge during or in the course of his/her employment with the company.• Keeps himself/herself well informed about products (lodging, catering and other facilities).• Sets, in conjunction with the General Manager, the current rates of the hotel. • Closely observes matters pertaining to competition (site, prices, services offered on a regular basis, quarterly or more often as needed).• Implements policies and procedures as directed by the General Manager.• Forecasts future travel patterns and provided trade feedback to the management.• Monitors and supervises his/her team’s production and activities.Work Experience • Degree in Sales, Marketing, Hospitality Management or related discipline.• Three to five years experience at similar position.• Fluent in English.Benefits 02 months of probation receive full salary05 working days, 02 days off per weekPeriodic health checkAccident insurance 24/7Social & health insurance and unemployment follow Vietnam lawOpportunity to grow within Accor group.Discounted rates apply when using services at the hotel in the Accor group worldwide
