Business Development for new clients who are currently sourcing products from other pump companies, or have not yet had a need to purchase pumps to date
Client visits and responsible for sales territory and growing customer number in the territory to meet allocated sales budget set in conjunction with the Managing Director
Up to date notes and records in CRM system
Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations of products
Understand client requirements and assist the Internal Technical Sales Engineers to provide quotations
Negotiate the price in line with pricing strategy and confirm contract terms and conditions to meet both the client and company needs
Provide technical support as required for the wider team
Prepare reporting and deliver presentations as required for the Managing Director
Provide input and feedback on market requirements for management to make informed decisions to improve
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business or similar, or proven practical experience in pumps or related industries
Strong integration and coordination between departments or personnel and ability to build genuine relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to identify customers challenges with alternative products and provide technical information along with a rational analysis in order to complete the sale
Ability to build rapport quickly and influence clients naturally during the sales cycle. Able to remain in a positive and resilient frame of mind despite challenges faced associated with sales process
Natural ability to work autonomously and maintain effective working relationships with internal colleagues.
