Job Description :

Report to: Administration to Head Steel Sales Viet Nam and Functionally to M&T Director Steel, SEA  Purpose •The position shall be primarily responsible for deriving market strategies and providing marketing approach to grow the market share penetration in Vietnam as domain and providing on solutions & technical support services to customers and commercial teams including installation, troubleshooting, trial performance monitoring, problem resolution, improvement projects and maintenance audit. The position will also be responsible for responding to customer queries regarding operation and malfunctions in steel production. Would be accountable for CCAR analysis with on time quality issue resolution, new product trial and reporting, regular visits to production sites to implement quality initiatives, best practices to improve the product performance and customer satisfaction. Dimensions of Position •All Vietnamese customers in both AR & FC business units Key Result Areas •Formalize the local market strategies and action plan to aggress into higher market share in both iron and steel sector. •Leading the planning and implementation of improvement activities in AR & FC and technical service business units of the customer sites in a time bound manner. •Leading the roll out of New products, application technique, equipment trial and establishing those in the customer sites. •Building a collaborative working relationship with the application teams based at multiple customer sites through regular interactions, TOT/knowledge sharing and sharing of best practices. •Understanding the issues in customers’ processes, analysis of past process data, discussion with customer and making Technical offer / proposals to improve the process efficiency at customer production cycle. •Providing necessary data for preparing the proposals and securing orders/contracts. •Regular Problem solving at various sites – CCAR analysis with on time quality resolutions. •Leading the New product trial and reporting. •Prepare Marketing & Technical proposals for new projects / business in Vietnam consultation with his superior and take part in the technical discussion with the customers to offer the proposals to the customer, aligned with organization’s pricing and business goal. Main Interactions – Internal •M&T Director SEA •Daily or As and when required •Endorse Strategic Planning & Review functionally •Head Steel Sales, Vietnam •Implementation of strategic plan & Actions for Vietnam •MNT expert AR and FC •Align the MNT regional strategies and approach. •Technical solutions •Contract Manager •Share of planning and implementation •Section Head / Site Engineers •For design, estimation, site improvement activities, best practice sharing, technical reviews, CCAR analysis and resolution •Supervisor •Product application update and data collection Job Requirement : Education and Experience •Graduate / Post Graduate in Engineering (Ceramics/Metallurgy/Mechanical) •4 to 6 years of hands on experience of handling Technical portfolio for Iron / Steel making zone business. •Adequate exposure in working in the iron / steel making zone in large Integrated Steel plant. Knowledge •Broad and comprehensive understanding of concepts and principles of steel plant and different product line applications in steel plants. •Should possess sound understanding of Iron/Steel making process to identify scope for value creation either by quality improvements or yield enhancements. •Good understanding of the application of AR & FC •Good understanding of refractory applications •Knowledge in scientific & problem solving conceptual Skills & Behaviour •Planning & organizing •Customer service orientation •Analytical ability •Communication Skills •Presentation skills •Disciplined Approach •Extensive Travelling to various locations
