About the job

In this role, you will be an active member of the Food Systems Sales team, and will be responsible for delivering and securing profitable growth within the Food Systems portfolio in Vietnam, creating project sales within Prepared Food and Beverages, Agro and Protein Processing, as well as Evaporation Systems applications.

You will be based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and will report to the Hub Sales Director Food Systems.

From a daily responsibility standpoint, you will:

  • Drive customer quotation work including commercial terms and technical solutions.

  • Define and manage sales plans and activities for your specific area.

  • Conduct market and customer analysis to define business potential and opportunities.

  • Proactively look for and manage leads from market and customers, and convert them into real business opportunities.

  • Be active in the market by making visits, meetings, presentation and other engagement activities with customers, focusing on understanding the customer’s needs and offering solutions from Food Systems portfolio.

  • Proactively connect and coordinate activities with local and central colleagues to prepare solutions for the customers and strategy alignment.

  • Drive and maintain customer opportunity pipeline in CRM and other tools.

  • Own order intake and gross margin results for the region.

  • Drive towards robust solution to customer and push for after sales services.

  • What You Know

  • You have excellent communication, organizational and commercial skills. You have high energy, a positive attitude and enjoy developing customer relationship.

  • You have prior experience in Protein Industry, Food or Beverage processing, Dairy industry, you have mechanical and thermodynamics understanding and able to read mass and energy balances.

  • Experience with processing equipment, such as separators, decanters, heat transfer equipment or evaporation would be a clear advantage.

  • Bachelor's degree in Process or Chemical Engineering or Food Processing field is preferred.

  • You are a self-motivated team player with strong customer focus.

  • You are familiar with project sales and thrive working with complex tasks over longer period.

  • You are prepared to travel 30-50% of the time.

  • You have a proven track record of relevant project or equipment sales within the industries of interest for this role.

  • You are someone who has good interpersonal skills, both internally and externally, proactive and takes initiative in achieving business goals.

  • You are capable of working in complex organizations, interacting with multiple stake holders.

  • You are well verse in both English and Vietnamese languages.
