Report to: General Manager
Summary:
• Establish sales business plan in line with the country business plan, develop a long-term sales strategy in order to ensure long term growth through category leadership.
• Contribute to the development and growth of the brands; develop effective and sustainable RTM
• Manage and develop the sales team
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a sales strategy and sales activities in line with the BU-plan in order to achieve targets
• Coordinating with trade marketing for each identified launch, promotion, event, etc to deliver the agreed annual commercial plan
• Identify opportunities and possibilities in order to improve sales and brand performance
• Make decisions and co-ordinate actions between partners and the internal organizations in order to improve total efficiency and to gain maximum short and long term profitability
• Build up and maintain outstanding professional relationship with distributor - distribution network
• Maximize distribution of product portfolio - recommend and implement optimization
• Co-ordinate resources and actions to ensure the flow of the activity i.e. meeting for distribution, merchandising, promotion to meet the sales budget within the budgeted conditions framework.
• Increase Sales while reducing and controlling the receivables in a context of unsecured receivables and lack of liquidity
• Improve sales forecast KPI's in a highly dynamic environment and market
• Overall management of key distributors in the region to ensure they strictly follow the strategic direction agreed between both parties
• University graduate, Specialized in commerce/marketing/business management
• Computer proficiency
• Fluent in English.
• At least 8 years in sales and marketing, relevant experience in FMCG industry and MNC environment.
• Knowledge of FMCG distribution network, retail market
• Very good understanding in Retail audit
• Experience in both General Trade and Modern Trade, in formulating Sales Strategies, strategic planning and execution
• Experience in strategic planning and execution.
• Willing to travel extensively
• Good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills. Able to build collaborative relationship.
• Ability to influence and motivate others
• Analytical and planning skills: define potentials/issues, setting objectives, strategies and action plan;
• Mature, reliable, aggressive, and able to work independently under pressure.
• Work positively and collaboratively in a matrix organisation
• Build and leverage mutually beneficial relationships and networks internally and externally
• Build strong teams across geographies and functions that work towards a common objective
• Analyze market forces and position to capitalise on opportunities; understand the competitors strengths, weaknesses and opportunities
