Senior Account Executive - DACH

Hypernative is the leading security company in the Web3 space, focused on providing proactive threat detection and mitigation for decentralized finance (DeFi) projects, chains, asset managers, and cryptocurrency exchanges.

We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to expand our presence across the DACH region (Germany, Switzerland, and Austria). If you are passionate about blockchain, possess deep regional knowledge and an established network in the DACH market, and excel at building strategic client relationships, we want to hear from you.

As the Senior Account Executive, DACH, you will lead Hypernative’s efforts to acquire and manage clients across the region, focusing on both DeFi and CeFi ecosystems.

This is a high-impact role that requires a combination of strategic thinking, business acumen, and a deep understanding of blockchain technologies and financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Business Development: Drive new business opportunities across the DACH region, targeting institutional clients, exchanges, protocols, chains, and traditional finance players exploring Web3.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders across the DeFi and CeFi ecosystems.
• Regional Expertise: Leverage your knowledge of the DACH market to identify trends, market dynamics, cultural nuances, and opportunities unique to the region.
• Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a regional sales plan to meet and exceed revenue goals, collaborating closely with the global Sales and Marketing teams.
• Product Advocacy: Develop a deep understanding of Hypernative’s product offerings and position them as essential solutions for risk mitigation and operational efficiency.
• Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, forecasts, and client interactions using CRM tools.
• Thought Leadership: Represent Hypernative at relevant industry events, conferences, and forums across the DACH region to establish and strengthen our brand as a trusted partner in the Web3 ecosystem.

• Industry Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the blockchain or financial technology space, with a proven track record in sales or business development.
• Regional Expertise: Strong knowledge of the DACH market, including its business landscape, cultural nuances, and relevant regulatory environment.
• Language: Native or fluent German and excellent written and verbal English are required.
• DeFi and CeFi Knowledge: Demonstrable understanding of decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols, centralized finance (CeFi), and institutional blockchain adoption.
• Network: An established network within the DACH region, including relationships with exchanges, institutional investors, financial institutions, protocols, and ecosystem players.
• Sales Acumen: Exceptional skills in consultative selling, negotiation, relationship building, and closing deals.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and business audiences.
• Entrepreneurial Spirit: A proactive, self-starter mindset with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Location: Based in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland, with the flexibility to travel across the DACH region as needed.
