The department

FE supervises Welltec operations as a service provider or in conjunction with third party service company personnel on location and on well site.

The position 

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute complex onshore and offshore operations.
• Perform job load-out and rig up/down at wellsite, both land and offshore environments.
• Follow detailed processes and procedures to maintain an industry leading level of service quality.
• Required to act as a lead engineer in the Welltec team on the well site and possesses in‐depth operational knowledge of all Welltec product lines, working principles, equipment and related software, and can run all services (regular and non-regular) from any Welltec location worldwide.
• Acts as on‐site advisors or consultants to the oilfield service company employees.
• Participates in planning, execution and post‐analysis of Welltec services.
• Communicates on a regular basis and as needed with operations manager to share progress of on‐going field operations.
• Performs post job meetings on well site.
• Performs internal/external training as required.
• Acts as Service Delivery Manager when needed.
• Files formal reports as required after completion of each field assignment.
• Provides assistance, guidance and training to all other field personnel.
• Knows, understands, and complies with all requirements of the Quality Management System and conforms to Welltec’s Standards of Performance.
• Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Welltec.
• Continually strives to improve operational policies and procedures, safety quality, and efficiency of the company.
• Ensures that all duties are carried out with due diligence to customer and Welltec QHSE Policies.
• Reports all near misses, accidents, incidents, and mechanical failures to appropriate authority (HSE, SDM).
• Schedules and leads in safety reviews (near misses, accidents, etc.).
• Leads by example to promote safety awareness and respects all safety policies.
• Participates in delivering efficient services of the highest quality.

The candidate

• Minimum 3 years’ experience with Welltec.
• Take responsibility as lead engineer on assigned operations, be forward-learning and HSE minded.
• Accurately complete all relevant paperwork associated with a job, including but not limited to the job report and field ticket, in a neat and timely manner.
• Be an ambassador for Welltec and Welltec technology when performing a job on site. This includes building good relationships and promoting Welltec services.
• In addition to conveyance has extensive experience in Welltec Mechanical/ Milling and Cutter service.
• Be a highly motivated individual who approach challenges with a positive ‘can-do-attitude’ and is willing to work under pressure and in varying remote conditions.
• Offshore experience is mandatory (preferably experience on Semi-Sub/Drill Ship).
• Ensures that all duties are carried out with due diligence to customer and Welltec QHSE Policies
• Leads by example in promoting and maintaining a safe workplace and holding others in the field accountable to this high level.
• Must understand and comply with all HSE, HR, and company policies of Welltec.
• Language Requirement – English (Full Professional Proficiency)
