Finance Business Partner

About the Role

As a Finance Business Partner, responsibilities include collaborating with business stakeholders for performance analysis, driving forecasting efforts, actively supporting accounting in closings, ensuring regulatory compliance in reporting, and leading initiatives for process improvement for reporting processes.

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to thoroughly analyze and understand business performance, finance metrics, and operational indicators, providing valuable insights for informed decision-making
• Drive the monthly, quarterly, annual, or multi-year forecast process, actively maintaining and enhancing financial models to ensure accuracy and relevance in predicting future financial outcomes
• Support the accounting team in month-end closing activities, participate in the processes necessary to finalize the financial records for a specific month
• Lead ongoing initiatives for continuous improvement in processes, (ie. standardization, automation, and enhancements to reporting)
• Collaborate with the compliance team for regulatory reporting

• Degree-level qualification in Accounting / Business / Quantitative fields of study
• At least 5 years experience in Finance Business Partner/ FP&A / Data / Analytics / Strategy-related areas
• Experience with financial systems (SAP, Anaplan, or similar financial systems)
• Experience working with large datasets SQL (advantage)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Excel, Word) and GSuite (GSheet, GSlide, etc)
• Able to work independently (or in a team) with high attention to detail
• Able to manage multiple stakeholders across various levels of seniority
• Strong work ethic, balancing a commitment to hard work with an appreciation for work-life balance.
