Job Role
- Ideation and Development: Conduct brainstorming sessions and generate creative ideas and develop concepts that are innovative and relevant to the project.
- Define Element: Define visual elements that are attractive and relevant as well as maintain consistency in design.
- Decking: Putting creative ideas and concepts through comprehensive decks.
- Conceptualization: Developing creative and innovative spatial design concepts that align with client objectives and project requirements.
- Space Planning: Collaborate with the design team to create thoughtful and efficient layouts that optimize space utilization and flow within interior environments.
- Visualization: Utilize 2D and 3D visualization tools to create mock-ups, floor plans, and renderings that communicate design ideas clearly.
- Material and Finishes Selection: Assist in selecting appropriate materials, finishes, colors, and furnishings that enhance the visual and functional aspects of interior spaces.
- Collaboration: Lead the team, and work closely with architects, interior designers, and other team members to contribute to design discussions and ideation sessions.
- Research: Conduct research on design trends, materials, and spatial solutions to contribute innovative ideas to ongoing projects.
- Technical Drawings: Assist in creating technical drawings, including elevation drawings, detailed plans, and construction documentation.
- Client Presentations: Contribute to the preparation of presentations that effectively showcase design concepts and solutions to clients.
- Site Visits: Participate in site visits to gain practical insights into spatial design implementation and assess project progress.
- Learning and Development: Embrace the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, improve your technical skills, and gain hands-on experience in spatial design.
- Quality Control: Implement controls and ensure quality standards and consistency in work.
️ Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3 years) as an Art Director or a similar creative leadership role
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and lead creative brainstorming sessions.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and visual consistency.
- Time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Passion for spatial design, interior architecture, and creating functional and aesthetically pleasing environments.
- Basic understanding of design principles, space planning, and spatial visualization.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Lumion or similar tools.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and
- visual, to effectively present design concepts.
- Creativity, adaptability, and the ability to
- work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics, spatial proportion, and harmony.
- Enthusiasm for learning, a proactive attitude, and the ability to take direction and feedback positively.
