Offshore Structural Engineer

Position: Offshore Structural Engineer (4 positions)
Education : University graduate in Structural Engineering or Ocean/Offshore Engineering
Working Status : Temporary/Contract
Work Location : Jakarta Experience:

• Expert: 5-10 years of relevant experience
• Senior: More than 10 years of relevant experience

Required Skills/Qualifications/Certifications:

• Deep knowledge of structural engineering design criteria, methods, and workflows from conceptual phase to site engineering phase.
• Ability to define technical document sets based on project quantities and scope of work.
• Capability to coordinate project engineering document production activities and review design documents prepared internally or by vendors.
• User-level proficiency in SACS software. Familiarity with USFOS and FEA software is considered an added value.
• Profound understanding of main international structural standards, codes, and regulations.
• Ability to analyze project requirements in terms of local standards and codes and identify proper implementation actions.
• Capability to predict and understand the static and dynamic behaviourof complex steel structures typical of the offshore industry.
• In-depth knowledge of key issues related to yard fabrication, erection activities, load-out, sea transport, and offshore installation of jackets, decks, modules, and offshore buildings.
• Proficiency in writing comprehensive technical reports with clear indication of basic data, assumptions, limitations, references, tracing of calculations, summary, and conclusions.

Brief Job Descriptions:

• Perform technical tasks assigned by Project Structural Lead, related to structural analyses, calculations, design, verification, or study activities.
• Interface with other project specialists and designers.
• Coordinate technical activities performed inside and/or outsidecompany.
