Senior Unity Developer

Position : Senior Unity Developer

Level : Grade 3-4 (Full-time)

Reporting to : Tech Lead

Hiring Needs : 1 headcount

Responsibilities:

• Designing, coding, and testing new features and improvements in games using Unity.
• Providing guidance and direction to junior developers in game development techniques, best practices, and software architecture.
• Ensuring the game performs optimally by optimizing aspects such as graphic performance, memory usage, and response time.
• Actively interacting with other team members, including game designers, artists, and other developers, to integrate and test various aspects of the game.
• Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to the Unity developers team.
• Identifying and resolving complex technical issues that may arise during game development, including performance issues, bugs, and necessary fixes.
• Work closely with the production team to define and meet project milestones and deadlines.
• Testing game functionality and theme dynamics.
• Ensuring products conform to high industry standards.
• Taking responsibility for the development of critical features and important technical decisions in software development.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Unity Developer with min. 3 years of game development experience, especially for gacha mobile games (Android & IOS).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and provide mentorship to junior developers.
• Good understanding of Unity SDLC and able to create simple code architecture through flowchart diagrams.
• Strong understanding in C#, OOP and scripting language skills.
• Extensive knowledge of the Unity game development engine and its features.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for gaming and a deep understanding of industry trends.
