Job Role:
- To supervise the contractor's structural maintenance and rehabilitation of highway structures in New Territories West;
- To carry out site audit checking and measurement on contractor's works;
- To keep records of the contractor's works;
- To assist professional staff and Assistant Inspector of Works Support on overall administration of site staff; coordinating responses to general enquiries, liaison with relevant parties including project offices and other government departments on the matters related to maintenance and rehabilitation of highway structures in New Territories West
- To carry out routine structural maintenance in New Territories West; and
- To perform any other duties assigned by Engineer/Project Coordinator/Inspector of Works/Assistant Inspector of Works/Senior Inspection Officer/ Assistant Inspector of Works Support.

Responsibilities:
(i)obtained a Certificate in Civil Engineering or Building Studies or other construction/building-related subjects from a Hong Kong polytechnic university/polytechnic, the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education or a technical institute/technical college, or equivalent; or
(2) completed a recognized Technician Apprenticeship in Civil Engineering or Building Studies or other construction/building-related subjects; or
(3) at least five years' experience as a skilled worker in civil engineering or other construction/building-related fields; and
(ii)met the language proficiency requirements of — (1) Level 2 or above in English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination, or equivalent [Note (1)]; and
(2) Secondary 3 standard or above in Chinese Language, or equivalent;
Note (1): 'Grade E' in English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 is accepted administratively as comparable to 'Level 2' in English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
(iii) completed the mandatory basic safety training course for the construction industry under the Factories and Industrial Undertakings (Amendment) Ordinance 1999 and hold the Labour Department Recognised Green Card (LDRGC).Apply For Job
