The Interior Designer will be instrumental in designing and developing store layouts that reflect our brands aesthetic and market position. This role requires a combination of creative design skills and practical retail management experience including an understanding of retail leasing and strategic store development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing projects from conception through to completion with a focus on driving business growth through innovative design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop interior concepts that align with our brands identity and enhance the customer shopping experience.
• Collaborate with the Business Expansion team to ensure that design concepts fit within the scope of new licenses and store locations particularly in malls and similar retail environments.
• Manage the full lifecycle of interior design projects from initial concept and planning to execution and final walkthroughs ensuring projects meet deadlines and budget requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors architects and vendors to oversee the execution of design projects.
• Develop detailed drawings and specifications for all interior design aspects including fixtures fittings and finishes.
• Keep abreast of emerging trends in interior design and retail management to ensure our stores remain innovative and appealing to our target demographics.
• Work closely with the Retail Management team to understand the dynamics of retail leasing and strategic expansion to better integrate design strategies with business objectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Interior Design Architecture or related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in interior design specifically within the retail sector.
• Strong portfolio of design work that includes substantial experience in retail environments particularly fashion retail.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD SketchUp Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a knack for persuasive presentation and negotiation.
• Understanding of the complexities of retail leasing and experience in business development related to store placement and design.
