Position Overview

Provide cleanliness support to the Housekeeping Department . Ensuring that the highest level of quality service is well maintained. Ensuring that guest tents facilities are clean and immaculate as well as all public areas . Support in providing laundry service and handling outside laundry company.

The H ousekeeping Trainee will be required to conduct their duties in a courteous, safe, and efficient manner, in accordance with Capella Ubud, Bali standard. T he Housekeeping Trainee must become a role model of company's culture. Provide exceptional and professional levels of service to guest tent, public area, and laundry .

The Role

• Assist the Camp Stylist to clean all asssigned guest tent including dusting, making bed, soiled linen removal from the tent and retrieval of clean linen from linen room, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, Clear blind cleaning, replenishing tents with supplies and amenities, checking and replenishing mini bar and report any defects in tents to Supervisor.
• Assist the Public Area Attendant to clean and maintain the cleanliness of heart of house and back of house, replenish public restroom with hand soap, lotion, hand sanitizer, tissue and face towel and report any defects in the public area to Supervisor.
• Assist the Laundry attendant to process the guest laundry, uniform and towels, clean the laundry area and laundry equipment and handle out side laundry company
• Maintain proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Update and record all cleaned tent
• Report and return all lost and found articles to housekeeping office
• Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards
• Report necessary maintenance items
• Others duties as assigned

Talent Profile

Qualifications:

• Diploma of college or university preferably in Hotel/Hospitality Management

Training Experience:

• 6 month 'experience in a similar role in luxury hotels/resorts

Skills Set:

• Proficient in english(verbal & written) essential
• Highly responsible and reliable
• Abbility to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as apart of the team with minimum supervision
• Frequent lifting carrying up to 30 lbs
• Accasional ascending or desending ladders and stairs
