Junior Subject Specialist

Job Descriptions:

Collection Acquisition:
• Select electronic resources for upload/ purchase process
• Maintain and regularly review library collections
• List e-journal databases for purchase or subscription cancelation

Library Services:
• Conduct Reference service in the library according to assigned schedule
• Disseminate information on the new services & collection of the library pertains to the electronic collections
• Participate in the Library activities in order to promote library collection and services

Accreditation :
• Provide various documents related to accreditation process (e.g., provide the list of electronic resources)
• Provide electronic references required by related Department

Management Support Activities:
• Provide Report to direct Supervisor
• Suggest improvement process related to activities in area of responsibilities (especially related to time concern, effort and cost)
• Perform activities related to Quality Management System
• Perform additional tasks related to key responsibilities as required by Direct Supervisor

Education Requirement:
•Min. Bachelor Degree in Library Science

Work Exposure/ Experience:
•No working experience
