The products and solutions offered by VIDA can be adopted by various sectors and industries, including the financial services industry. For example, VIDA’s solutions use facial recognition and can help financial service providers onboard new customers easily and verify instantly they are who they claim to be. VIDA’s solution can also help financial stakeholders sign agreements using electronic signatures while ensuring the integrity of the signed document.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our modern infrastructure, with a focus on datacenter operations, networking, and system administration. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and security of our on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure, as well as supporting our migration to modern platform technology.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage our datacenter operations, including server provisioning, storage, and virtualization technologies.

• Oversee the configuration and management of networking infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and high availability for our systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to migrate legacy systems to modern platform technology, such as Kubernetes, Docker, or cloud-based solutions.

• Implement and maintain automation tools and infrastructure as code (IaC) to streamline manual tasks and improve operational efficiency.

• Monitor system performance, identify potential bottlenecks or issues, and proactively optimize and troubleshoot infrastructure components.

• Ensure the security of our infrastructure, including data protection, access controls, and vulnerability management.

• Administer and maintain operating systems, applications, and services running on our infrastructure.

• Collaborate with software development teams to ensure smooth integration of applications into the infrastructure environment.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in datacenter operations, networking, and system administration, and make recommendations for infrastructure improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in datacenter operations, networking, and system administration in a complex and distributed infrastructure environment.

• Strong expertise in modern platform technology, such as Kubernetes, Docker, or cloud-based solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Proficient in scripting and automation using tools such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.

• Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewalls.

• Hands-on experience with server virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

• Familiarity with datacenter technologies, including server hardware, storage systems, and backup solutions.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Relevant certifications in networking, virtualization, or cloud technologies are a plus.
