IT Support Engineer Assistant Manager

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in computer science
• Network infrastructure management: Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure, such as routers, switches, and other network equipment.
• Network security: Experience implementing and managing network security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption.
• Project management: Experience managing network-related projects, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Staff management: Experience supervising and mentoring network staff, including training, performance evaluations, and career development.
• Vendor management: Experience managing relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of network-related services and products.
• Network troubleshooting: Experience troubleshooting and resolving network issues, including identifying and resolving hardware and software problems.
• Compliance: Experience ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations related to network infrastructure and security.
• Business Continuity: Experience in planning and executing disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Experience with common network protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools, such as NMS, SNMP, and NetFlow.

Technical Competencies

• Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Experience with network infrastructure management, including routers, switches, and other network equipment.
• Experience with network security, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools, such as NMS, SNMP, and NetFlow.
• Experience with cloud-based networks and technologies, such as AWS and Azure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
