About the Organization

In today’s world, home to over seven billion people, about one billion go to bed hungry every night. Food, a fundamental human necessity, often needs to receive the attention and value it deserves. With increasing populations, climate change, limited water resources, and the complex land use issue, the need for better food security becomes increasingly important. Tay Juhana Foundation (TJF), a non-governmental organization, understands the urgency of taking immediate action to address this global challenge.

TJF, driven by a team of energetic and innovative young professionals, is dedicated to developing effective strategies, conducting pioneering research, and promoting sustainable agricultural practices on suboptimal lands, particularly peatlands.
