Deskripsi Pekerjaan - Subject Content Coordinator

Job Descriptions

Faculty Member Activities :

  • Perform Teaching Activities:

O Disseminate and impart basic or applied knowledge to students

O Assist students with learning process

O Assessing student’s learning

  • Perform Research Activities:

O Participate actively in specific research projects

O Propose new topics for research projects

O Maintain a program of research, scholarship or artistic creativity through which they should aspire to a national or international reputation as scholars and promotion to the rank of Professor (academic specialist rank)

O Contribute to their disciplines through publishing articles and books, presenting research findings, or disseminating their work to external audiences

  • Perform Community Services:

O Participate actively in community service programs

O Propose new program for community service

Content Development & Evaluation Activities :

  • Enrich and maintain course material.
  • Review and revise course material quality by conducting Course Outline and Online Resources review and revision (every semester).
  • Stay up-to-date of latest trends, courses, and technology related to department, particularly those affecting academic program.
  • Identify and add the latest trends, courses, and technology to related program of Faculty/School.
  • Perform and monitor the quality of curriculum development activities related to Course review, Course Outline (CO) and Outline Resources (OR), course equivalent, text book, syllabi, digital content, Rumpun Ilmu, operational table, the assessment of learning outcomes, and course scoring composition (Final exam, Mid exam, and assignment).
  • Assist Head of Department / Program in monitoring the course distribution and curriculum mapping.
  • Manage and monitor the implementation of peer review and sit in activities.
  • Prepare the partner and Faculty Member for global learning system.
  • Coordinate the implementation of internship program (in coordination with Deputy Head, BINUS Career department and other respective units).

Operational Management Activities :

  • Assist Head of Department / Program in monitoring the activities related to the faculty member:

O Determine Faculty Member qualification for each course

O Mapping Faculty Member competency

O Faculty Member scheduling and/or assignment for other Department

O Task assignment for Faculty Member and Associate Faculty Member

  • Perform and monitor activities related to teaching operational activities:

O Appoint respective Faculty Member for teaching assignment 

O Finalize the teaching schedule for approval process

O Validate the examination schedule that made by respective operation Department

O Monitor the teaching activities by using the web reporting 

  • Coordinate the following activities with Deputy Head:

O Monitor the Faculty Members’ attendance status in teaching preparation and examination meeting (e.g. mid & final exam meeting)

O Inform the teaching and examination activities to all Faculty Members and students

O Monitor the attendance of all Faculty Members 

O Monitor the process of Faculty Members substitution

O Monitor the collection and distribution of examination materials

O Monitor the timely process of examination score submission 

O Review the student’s examination score per semester

O Appoint thesis advisors and examiners based on their qualifications 

O Prepare the substitution for thesis examiners

O Prepare the thesis guidelines

O Resolve student complaints

O Resolve the case between students and lecturers

  • Monitor department schedule meeting related to Faculty Member
  • Assist the Head of Department / Program in coordinating the implementation of internship program with respective units.
  • Support practicum activities by coordinating the following matters with Head of Laboratory/Studio:

O Course Outline (CO)

O Outline Resources (OR)

O Practicum Courses 

O Examination Materials

  • Act as public voice of the institution who promotes Faculty/School contributions locally, nationally and internationally, especially in marketing (open house) event activities
  • Support Faculty/School to manage compliance activities and conduct document support for Borang or other national/international standard
  • Perform the role of lecturer as stated in Catur Dharma Perguruan Tinggi

Management Support Activities :

  • Provide Report to direct Supervisor 
  • Monitor the overall documentation process in related area
  • Suggest improvement process related to activities in area of responsibilities (especially related to time concern, effort and cost) 
  • Perform activities related to Quality Management System
  • Perform additional tasks as required by Direct Supervisor

General Requirement:  

  • Education: Master Degree with relevant field of knowledge
  • Jenjang Jabatan Akademik (JJA) : Minimum Asisten Ahli 
  • Education: Doctoral Degree with relevant field of knowledge
  • Jenjang Jabatan Akademik (JJA) : Minimum Asisten Ahli

Work Exposure/ Experience: 

Teaching Experience:  

  • Master Degree : 2+ years of Teaching Experience 
  • Doctoral Degree : 2+ years of Teaching Experience
