Job Brief

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented UI Designer to join our dynamic design team. As a UI Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for our Cybersecurity applications.

You should have an eye for aesthetics, a love for even the smallest details in UI Design, as well as be able to translate wireframes into ready to use mockups and prototypes. You will be collaborating closely with our global product team that consists of Designers, Engineers, UX Writers, as well as Product Owners.

Responsibilities

• Design and create intuitive and attractive user interfaces for our product.
• Questioning the status quo, integrating in new trends and UI solutions.
• In close partnership with the design system manager, you will maintain and extend the Design System, while adhering to our user interface guide.
• Collaborate with the product team and present and discuss your work progress.
• Thoughtfully create visual designs from components, up to whole pages.
• Support the front-end development team before and after handover.
• Big plus: You are able to create original illustrations and graphical elements.
• Big plus: You can create micro animations for interactive elements & transitions.

Requirements

• At least a Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• 2+ years of UI Design experience in SaaS context.
• Strong & detailed portfolio showcasing UI design work.
• Excellent visual design skills, with a focus on typography, color, and layout.
• Ability to look outside the box, find excitement in iterating and challenge decisions as well as your own.
• Good English communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma & Adobe.
• Sound knowledge of design fundamentals and methodologies and the willingness to learn more.
• Understand and able to apply project management methodologies (Agile, Lean, etc…).
• Plus: Experience with data visualizations
• Plus: Know-how of Jira and Confluence
• Plus: Experience with Design Systems (we use Ant Design).
