Biofuel/Biomass Auditor

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Control Union Certification in Indonesia for a Biofuel/Biomass Auditor.

As a Biofuel/Biomass Auditor you will be responsible for carrying out Biofuel/Biomass and others related sustainability certification audits with a fast-paced and dedicated team that works together to manage challenges within today’s global marketplace.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Planning and preparation of assessments, execution of assessments and to provide a report with findings as to the conformity with all the requirements
• Initiating the assessment
• Preparing for the on-site assessment activities
• Conducting on-site assessment activities
• Preparing, approving, and distributing the assessment report
• Conducting assessment follow-up
• Assistance with handling of claims and appeals
• Maintaining contacts with the certifier on regular basis
• Maintaining up to date files of all quality policies, procedures, working instructions and documentation issued by CUC
• Keeping abreast of developments, issues and legislative changes pertaining to the sectors in which assessments are carried out
• Being up to date with the latest local and international regulations in connection with your work
• Maintaining and developing client relationships
• Informing the management of chances, and threats in the market

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural/Chemical Engineering/ Forestry or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Agricultural, Chemical Engineering, Forestry, or allied industries
• Qualified for ISCC EU basic training module, qualification of ISCC Auditor would be advantageous
• Qualified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2015 and awareness of ISO 19011:2018
• Willingness to travel extensively (domestic and international)
• Good in English (written and spoken)
• Good communication skills, comfortable communicating with varying levels of seniority
• Excellent interpersonal skills as most of the role will involve face to face contact with our clients
• Able to prioritise work accordingly and have excellent time management skills
• Self-motivated, independent worker who also can feed back into a team
