Deskripsi Pekerjaan - Business Development Manager
Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop Business Opportunities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Freight Forwarding industry in Indonesia.
Research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to identify growth areas.
Create and implement effective strategies to expand our presence and market share.
2. Increase Shipments in Freight Services:
Develop and execute plans to increase the volume of shipments for our Freight Services.
Collaborate closely with the Sales and Operations teams to ensure seamless execution of shipments.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of shipment initiatives, making adjustments as needed.
3. Build Relationships:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local vendors, carriers, and clients.
Act as the main point of contact for clients, promptly addressing their inquiries and concerns.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure clients receive exceptional service.
4. Negotiate and Handle Customs Clearance:
Lead negotiations related to customs clearance and other administrative matters in the freight service process.
Ensure compliance with customs and trade regulations while optimizing clearance processes. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience in business development within the Freight Forwarding Industry.
Strong understanding of the local and international logistics market.
Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors, clients, and regulatory authorities.
Familiarity with customs clearance processes and regulations.
Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software.
Fluency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia.
A valid driver's license and access to transportation for client meetings and vendor visits.
