Our client is an Australian company currently expanding to Indonesia. They are an istrumentaiton and monitoring company that works in the Civil Infrastructure, Rail, Commercial Construction and Mining Sectors.

Job Description

• Market Penetration : Develop and implement strategies to penetrate the infrastructure sector, focusing on government projects and tenders.
• Network Building : Leverage existing networks and build new relationships with government bodies, contractors, and engineering firms.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering team to ensure alignment and integration of technical requirements in business strategies.
• Strategic Partnerships : Explore opportunities for joint ventures or acquisitions to accelerate market entry and growth.
• Tender Management : Identify and secure tenders, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.

The Successful Applicant

• Experience : Minimum 10 years of experience in business development, with a proven track record of driving business growth and establishing market presence.
• Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with the construction industry is preferred, with a strong understanding of infrastructure and mining sectors.
• Technical Understanding : Exposure to engineering fields and a solid understanding of construction processes.
• Network : Established network within government projects, mining contractors, and engineering firms in Indonesia.
• Strategic Thinking : Ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities, with a strategic mindset for business expansion.
• Leadership : Strong leadership skills to guide the establishment of the new office and drive business objectives.
• Communication : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Conversational English is needed
