The primary responsibility of the [Business Development Manager] is to support the Business Development team to increase the number Q-SYS trained partners and technicians within Indonesia. To achieve this, the role will require supporting sales initiatives, providing application design support or conducting sales/technical training for partners.
In addition, the position will provide systems and technical support to our channel partners, consultants and prospective users within the AV integration community.
Support sales initiatives
- Organize and support sales marketing activities
Technical sales efforts
- Provide new solutions sales updates and training
- Conduct market research and provide strategic insights
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales support
Market development activities
- Support consultants and provide regular updates
- Conduct regular dealer training/visits
- Must have employment eligibility in Indonesia
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the professional audio video industry or associated industries
- Proven track record of developing and growing a market for a solutions-based product portfolio from an international manufacturer
- Must be fluent in English and proficient in Bahasa Indonesia
- Experiences as an AVC systems engineer, contractor and/or consultant are desirable
- Experiences with third party control integration (AMX, Crestron, etc.) are desirable
- This is a remote and highly independent role. Day-to-day activities and which customers to engage will all be determined by the individual. Regular reviews by the management will be provided to ensure alignment with regional strategy.
- Audio visual industry certifications in CTS or similar is desirable
- Must be fluent with computer technologies, networked audio systems, and DSP technology
- Possess strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
