Job Description
- Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure.
- Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing detailed analysis and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Coordinate and manage the preparation of audit materials and external financial reporting.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve financial operations and mitigate risks.
- Conduct financial analysis, prepare reports, and present findings to senior management.
- Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports.
- Mentor and manage the finance team, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in financial management, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in using financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytic, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
