Laboratory Technician at PT HM Sampoerna

PT HM Sampoerna's Laboratory is seeking highly motivated candidates to join as a Laboratory Technician to be placed in Sukorejo.

Your ‘day to day’

1. Perform the various laboratory activities and ensure the implementation of analytical methods are in line with good laboratory practices.


2. Ensure the integrity of laboratory analytical results, verify the results obtained from various analytical methods and instruments, and provide the results in a timely manner.


3. Conduct analytical activities for method development, proficiency tests/collaborative studies, and ensure all requirements are fulfilled.


4. Operate and maintain instruments of medium complexity, e.g., smoking machine, Gas chromatography, headspace, liquid chromatography, auto analyzer, etc.

Who we’re looking for

We are looking for individuals who:

1. Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree from reputable universities, preferably majoring in chemical or chemical engineering.


2. Have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Laboratory Technician, preferably from the tobacco, food, pharmaceutical, or a similar industry (an advantage).


3. Possess knowledge and experience in Power Query, Macro VBA, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI.


4. Demonstrate strong analytical thinking, a can-do attitude, and good resilience towards project pressures.


5. Have strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, strong oral and written communication, and presentation skills.


6. Possess strong knowledge of medium complexity instruments, e.g., GC-MS, GC-MS/MS, LC-MS/MS, ICP-M.


7. Are willing to be placed in Sukorejo.
