Job Title: Lead Pipeline Installation Engineer - FEED GEP
Location: Indonesia, Jakarta Job Description:
We are looking for a highly experienced Lead Pipeline Installation Engineer for the FEED GEP project. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing the offshore construction and installation scope for big bore pipelines in both shallow and deep water. The role focuses on ensuring the successful execution of the project on time, within budget, and in accordance with project requirements, specifications, and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and execution of offshore construction and installation for big bore pipelines in shallow and deep water.
- Develop construction plans, load out, transportation, and installation strategies for offshore works, including installation across various terrains and conditions.
- Oversee pipeline shore pull activities.
- Serve as the focal point for communication with stakeholders, managing and resolving technical and engineering issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project objectives and deadlines.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Qualifications: - Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
- Ideally a Chartered Engineer.
- 15+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on pipeline installation engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in the pipeline installation engineering discipline.
- 5+ years of experience as a Lead Pipeline Installation Engineer.
- Proven experience in developing construction plans and strategies for offshore works.
- Extensive experience in FEED and EPCI projects related to installation engineering of big bore and deep water pipelines.
- Proficient knowledge and working experience of installation engineering across all project phases from FEED to construction and pre-commissioning.
