Sales Consultant – Small Business and Residential Security

PASS Security is seeking a motivated and ambitious sales professional. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about learning and developing electronic security with a focus on small business and residential markets. This position involves exposure to system engineering, project deployments, service, and monitoring using innovative video technology and artificial intelligence (AI).

PASS Security provides technology-based commercial security solutions across various vertical markets in the Greater St. Louis Region. We are a System Integrator specializing in engineering, deploying, servicing, and monitoring commercial electronic security applications.

Role:

• Follow up on company-generated leads to understand potential clients' security needs and propose customized solutions.
• Conduct thorough assessments of client premises to identify security requirements and ensure tailored solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of our electronic security products and services, with a focus on video technology and AI.
• Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals, demonstrating how our solutions meet client needs and compliance requirements.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with the Engineering, Project Management, and Operations Teams for successful project deployments and ongoing service.
• Monitor market conditions, competitor activities, and industry trends to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth.
• Participate in industry events and conferences to network and build expertise.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of general sales experience, preferably with a focus on small business and residential markets; electronic security or technology-based experience is a plus.
• Strong time management and scheduling skills.
• Ability to develop objectives and strategies and manage one’s own performance.
• Work collaboratively within a team.
• Reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to travel locally throughout the Greater St. Louis/Metro-East Illinois Region. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
• Ability to obtain an Illinois PERC Card (required for all security industry personnel).
• Successful completion of a drug test.
