Senior Business Development Manager

We are actively seeking a Senior Business Development Manager with extensive experience and a deep understanding of the events, clubs, and entertainment sectors, including sports and live events. Key Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of the events, clubs, and entertainment industry, especially in sports and live events.
Strong existing relationships with promoters, event organizers, venues, and key decision-makers in the industry. Role Overview:
At The Digital Cellar, we are developing a state-of-the-art event and ticketing platform. We need a skilled individual who can establish and strengthen industry relationships. Primary Responsibilities:
Build and maintain relationships with professional teams, colleges, and venues for inventory acquisition and resale.
Research and analyze upcoming concerts and sporting events for resale opportunities.
Handle inventory procurement during pre-sales and general sales.
Travel occasionally (less than 5%) for direct ticket purchases from box offices.
Liaise with ticket brokers, venues, and teams to build relationships and schedule demonstrations.
Gain a thorough understanding of venue dynamics, regional trends, and pricing strategies. Client Account Management at The Digital Cellar:
Manage a diverse range of client accounts in events, attractions, and sports, providing proactive, customer-focused account management.
Strive to meet the operational, financial, and business objectives of The Digital Cellar.
Regularly update client information, manage online presales and onsales, and ensure clear communication of event-related information.
Oversee events and ticket inventory on our systems, including livestream events, aiming to maximize retail potential.
Foster effective teamwork within the department and across the company, and manage client-related communications efficiently. Desired Skills and Abilities:
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and the ability to learn and use complex systems.
Passion for sports and the entertainment industry.
Proven sales track record in sports, entertainment, music, and event sectors.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Technical Requirements:
Essential experience with ticketing systems.
Extensive commercial experience in the Ticketing Industry.
IT literacy, particularly in Windows Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Behavioral Requirements:
