Site Supervisor / Drafter

Job Description :
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Site Supervisor / Drafter to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of interior design projects from inception to completion. Your role will involve both project management and on-site supervision, ensuring our projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities :
Review design drawings to identify potential issues related to project feasibility, scope and budget. Also ensure that the design drawings are practical and can be successfully implemented.
Lead and manage all phases of interior design projects, including planning, design development, construction and installation.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets and resource allocation.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs, concerns and feedback.
Produce Bill of Quantity for each project
Coordinate and collaborate with architects, contractors, subcontractors and other project stakeholders
Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations and safety standards
Conduct regular site visits to monitor the progress of construction and installation work
Ensure that work on-site aligns with design plans, quality standards and project schedules
Address any issues or challenges that arise during the construction phase and provide effective solutions
Maintain detailed records of site visits, project changes and communicate updates to the project team and clients
Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the highest level of craftsmanship and design integrity
Inspect materials, finishes and workmanship to ensure they meet project specification
Lead and support the project team in resolving any discrepancies or issues affecting project quality
Keep clients informed about project progress, addressing their questions and concerns
Provide regular updates and reports on project status, budget and timelines
Monitor project budgets and costs, working to keep projects within budget and proposing strategies to mitigate any cost overruns. Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management or a related field. Master's degree is a plus
2 years of experience in Project Management and Site Supervisor, preferably in the interior design or construction industry
Proficiency in project management software (e.g. Trello) and design software (e.g. AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape)
Strong leadership and organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, team members and external partners effectively
In-depth knowledge of design principles, space planning and materials.
