Job Description
This role will be reporting to the President Director. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in expanding their business by identifying new opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Identify and Pursue Opportunities: Proactively identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capture them.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify potential areas for business expansion.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including operations and marketing, to ensure seamless delivery of services and effective communication with clients.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and negotiations to secure new business contracts.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Min. 10 years of experience in business development and sales within the logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics concepts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
