Technical / MRO Procurement Manager - Chemical Manufacturing

Our client is one of the largest manufacturer in their industry with export orientation. We are looking for highly driven individual with procurement experience and spirit of innovation to further develop the procurement division.

Job Description

• Implement various effective procurement processes to reduce expenses and build long-term profitability for the company.
• Define sourcing strategy to achieve cost savings that is in alignment with company's objectives.
• Support in financial and investment planning to increase and maximize returns.
• Responsible for the procurement of technical and MRO items.
• Maintaining and grow partnerships with internal and external team across functions frequently.
• Ensure that process is aligned with various departments in the company.
• Monitor the purchasing request process to purchase orders.
• Update and grow the vendor list, delivery time, QC and invoice approval, complains and returns.
• Conduct vendor audits and generate relevant reports.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with good track record.
• Have exposure to contracts bench marking.
• Project management experience to drive improvement initiatives.
• Well developed influencing skills and is able to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong written and communication skills.
• Strong negotiation skills.
