Contributes to the BU strateg y execution b y planning and taking a lead in defining and o w ning the specific actions for Wood Finishes/ Packaging & Coil in the country. Ensures execution of the agreed sales, selected cost from the P&L and profitabilit y related targets established b y the BU through effective management of sales team and organizing high qualit y sales support infrastructure required in the execution of sales processes.

Key Accountabilities

1. Rolls-out sales programs for Wood Finishes and metal coating (including sales process- related kno w ledge and tools) and implements corporate promotions.

2. W o rks closel y with the team to analyze present and future market trends and customer feedback for market se g mentation and planning to aim for further market penetration

3. Develops and executes sales strategies in the marketplace securing achievement of expected bottom line result for the segment in the allocated region.

4. Plans, monitors and periodicall y reports on execution of major sales activities conducted in the country.

5. Identifies significant business opportunities, pinpoints existing and/or potential problem areas and assists field force w here appropriate.

Key Activities

1. Provides feedback to understand how customers are utilizing our products and how well those products align versus com p etitive products.

2. Input to price setting, carries out negotiations w ith sales accounts, OEMs and distributors w ithin the responsible area. Monitors and feeds back c o mpetitive pricing to marketing, has responsibilit y for implementation.

3. Responsible for IBP processes related to accurate demand forecasting for manufacturing and to marketing for strategic (product planning) use.

4. Systematically up-dates and maintain CRM with valid, accurate and complete customer-related information.

5. Drives HSE program and leads behavioral change towards z ero LTI’s

Experience

5 plus y ears of w ork experience in commercial roles such as sale or ke y account management in B2B environment

Broad network in Wood Coatings industr y in the region is beneficial for the success of this role

Excellent people management skills. Applies situational leadership, able to steer behavior and exhibits cultural a w areness.

Understands how various functional teams contribute to drive commercial success as excellent cross functional coordination is ke y for success in this role

Must poses abilit y to influence peers and management.

Must w ork in close coordination with Technical (R&D), suppl y chain and marketing functions
Net w orks w ith ke y industr y stakeholders such as furniture customers associations

Education

Degree in business management; economics or chemistr y
