Job Description

• Build partnerships with global and regional event organizers and promoters to grow Traveloka's presence and customer acquisition
• Achieve growth plan through thorough market mapping and analysis, identifying customer challenges and opportunities in line with agreed objectives and targets
• Explore and pitch new ideas, identify opportunities, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns to grow partner propositions and accounts
• Assist in developing and strengthening relationships with event based partners, event organizers, commercial partners and affiliates
• Drive local execution of growth initiatives including integrated co-marketing campaigns, product partnerships and promotions
• Prepare and deliver engaging presentations, demos, and proposals for partners in assigned region
• Participate actively in negotiation and execution on partnership contracts and ensure compliance of all parties 
• Provide market and product updates, as well as conduct ongoing due diligence, and strategic relationship reviews
  
   

Requirements

Education

• A bachelor's degree in hospitality, tourism management, business, or related field

Technical Skill

• In-depth knowledge of travel destinations, airlines, hotels, event organizer and promoters, and other travel-related products and services

• Familiarity with events organizers, and affiliates

• Familiarity with travel-related laws, regulations, and visa requirements

• Familiarity with booking systems, reservation software, and online travel platforms

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications

• Orientation to detail. Accurate data entry and thoroughness is of essence.

• Fluency in English. Proficiency in multiple languages can be an advantage

• Strong structure and analytical thinking

Relevant Experience

• A minimum of 2 years working experience as event organizer or promoter.

• A genuine passion for travel and a personal interest in exploring new destinations and events.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to understand and meet customer’s needs.

• Strong sales skills to upsell and cross-sell travel products.

• The ability to handle issues such as changes in travel plans.

• Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays.

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Relevant exposure in OTA and fast paced event environment will have an added advantage
