Job Description

• Manages and monitors the operation of all computer hardware, ensures all systems are working and installed properly, and serves as the primary contact for servicing the computer hardware
• Ensures that all systems are covered by the proper maintenance contracts and that preventive maintenance is performed as required
• Responsible for the availability of IT systems and procedures to optimize the availability of services.
• Must be able to implement preventive and corrective solutions using the right tools.
• Will be responsible for assisting the IT Manager to establish security strategies related to all IT infrastructures.
• Continually keeps informed of Accor-approved systems and technology that may contribute to improve hotel efficiency, including, but not limited to:

o   Computer Hardware systems and devices including PC LAN technology, software operating and utility systems.

o   Front Office and Accounts Receivable Property Management Systems / Opera PMS

o   Interfaces to and from Front Office Property Management Systems and other Systems.

o   Back Office Accounting Systems.

o   Internal and External Electronic Mail / Facsimile / Scanner software and communication tools.

o   Call Accounting System

o  Cabling.

o   Hub/Switch Management & Systems Configuration

o   Electronic Door Locking Computer System.

o   Computer Virus protection.

o   Hotel IT Security and Firewalls

o   Interfaces to and from IPTV Switch

o   Other Smart System

• Maintain an up-to-date list of all computer hardware
• Monitors the performance of the software and maintains a log book of performance report eg; through systems measurement facility/utility, error and integrity check reports, system malfunction and solutions
• Be aware of duty of care and adhere to occupational, health and safety legislation, policies and procedures
• Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly
• Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify supervisors of potential dangers
• Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by IT Manager and Financial Controller

Work Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in IT 
• 4 years experience in IT
• Deeply understand about Sun, Opera, Micros and MC system.
• Demonstrate an interest in and an understanding of issues relevant to your IT department and hotel
• Demonstrate ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects the relevant to IT department and hotel.
• Problem solving, Customer focus, Motivating and good team work.
• Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
