Cathodic Protection Engineer

As a Cathodic Protection Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing corrosion control strategies for infrastructure and facilities in the Oil & Gas industry. Your expertise in cathodic protection systems will play a crucial role in preventing corrosion and ensuring the integrity of assets.

If selected, the work location would be in Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop cathodic protection systems for pipelines, tanks, and other infrastructure
• Perform corrosion risk assessments and develop corrosion control strategies
• Conduct site surveys and inspections to evaluate corrosion protection requirements
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports
• Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation
• Monitor and evaluate cathodic protection system performance
• Conduct tests and analysis to identify corrosion-related issues
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and technological advancements in cathodic protection

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in cathodic protection engineering
• Strong knowledge of cathodic protection system design and implementation
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools
• Familiarity with corrosion risk assessment techniques
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required
