TheSCeNeCoalitionisaimedtodevelopWeb-basedToolandWebsiteforSoutheastAsiaClimateandNature-based Solution(SCeNe)Coalition.The toolwillhelptoidentify highimpactfuture NbSopportunities,ensuring a targetedpipeline

What You Will Do

Systemsand ToolDevelopment (90%)

• WorkwithdevelopmentteamandWorkstreammanager todefine productrequirementsforweb-basedtool.
• Developbackendofweb-based toolforSCeNe Coalitionandwebsite architecture.
• Conductassessmentforuserrequirementtosupportthe developmentofweb-based tool, ifnecessary
• Developback-endofweb-based toolincollaborationwith front-enddeveloperand fullstack developer.
• Create database entities toensurefunctionalityofweb-basedtoolandwebsite.
• DesignanddevelopAPIsforcross-platformintegration.
• Create securityand dataprotectionsettingsforweb-based tool API
• Conductrequiredtestingtoensurefunctionality, responsiveness, andefficiencyofthe API.
• Write APIsandothertechnicaldocumentationforweb-based tool development

ProgramManagement(10%)

• SupporttheProduct Engineering LeadandWorktreamManagerindevelopingimplementationplanrelatedwiththeplatform development
• Support Product Engineering LeadandWorkstreamManager in training andsocializationon the use ofplatformforkeystakeholders
• Organizefocusgroupdiscussionstogatherthedataneededtodevelopthetoolaswellastotestandevaluatethe usabilityofthetool.
• Coordinatewithexternalservice providersandassure thequalityofthe deliveredproducts

What You Will Need

• Bachelor’sdegreeina relatedfield,preferablywithcourseworkinComputerScience,ComputerEngineering,Electrical
• Engineering, Geoinformaticsorequivalentexperience;
• Minimum 3years ofoverallworkexperienceas a BackEndDeveloperorsimilarrole
• Strong proficiencyincommonstacksforsoftware development
• Experienceand strongproficiencyonmultiple back-endlanguages(e.g. Golang, Python) andJavaScript/Pythonframeworks(e.g. Laravel, Node.js, Flask).
• Experience with DevelopmentandOperations(e.g.Google Cloud Platform,GitHub,Gitlab, AWS)
• Experience with Agile developmentmethodologies;
• Businessproficiencyinverbalandwrittencommunication,andinworkingcollaborativelywitha varietyofcolleagues
• andclientsina remote developmentenvironment;
• Strong analyticalandorganizationalskills;
• Strong problem-solving skills;

Deliverables

1. Developwell-functioningandefficient back-endsystem ofweb-based tool (80%)
2. Developwell-functioningandefficient front-endsystem of web-basedtool (10%)
3. Developa website forSCeNe Coalitionasoneofplatformtointregatethe tool andcross-platforminformation (10%)

Duration

This position is expected to start as soon as possible for an initial contract period up to 31 December 2024 with possibility of extension according to the project needs, performance evaluation, and budget availability.

Terms of Payment

Daily-rate based Consultant with maximum 18 (eighteen) working days per month.

Contract Arrangement

Individual consultancy contract (Part-time, limited term)
