Finance Manager

Our client, a prominent entity in the manufacturing sector, is actively seeking a Finance Manager with a firm grasp of accounting principles and regulatory compliance.

• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal controls in all accounting operations.
  
• Oversee the monthly financial closing process, ensuring accurate recording of costs, reviewing journal entries, reconciling account balances, and preparing reports.
  
• Uphold robust financial controls and maintain documentation for audits.
  
• Lead the monthly and annual closing procedures, manage tax issues, and meet deadlines.
  
• Direct and assess the daily activities of the Finance team.
  
• Develop and enforce corporate accounting policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  
• Establish and enhance internal controls to protect inventory and fixed assets.
  
• Implement IT-based control systems to increase operational efficiency.
  
• Ensure the delivery of accurate and timely financial reports for individual entities and on a consolidated basis, in compliance with reporting standards.
  
• Manage cash flow forecasting to secure necessary operational funds.
  
• Prepare financial budgets and projections.
  
• Liaise with external auditors, corporate secretaries, and legal advisors to fulfill legal obligations and maintain compliance.
  
• Guide the Finance team to adhere to SOPs, management approval processes, and tax regulations.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related field.
  
• Possession of ACCA, CPA, or a similar globally recognized qualification is preferred.
  
• Strong communication skills.
  
• Experience in an Indonesian company, with a preference for the manufacturing sector.
  
• Understanding of Indonesian Accounting Standards (PSAK), tax laws and regulations, and other governmental regulations.
  
• Bilingual proficiency in Bahasa and Mandarin to navigate the diverse business landscape.
  
• This position is stationed in Batam, necessitating the candidate's willingness to be based there.
