Description
- Oversee financial reporting activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for the South Sumatra plant, collaborating with stakeholders to develop realistic and achievable financial targets.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, providing actionable insights to support decision-making.
- Manage cost control initiatives, analysing expenditure patterns, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing measures to optimise operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and corporate policies, mitigating financial risks and maintaining integrity in financial operations.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with other departments, such as operations and procurement, to align financial objectives with business strategies and drive performance.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to enhance transparency, accountability, and efficiency in financial processes.
- Participate in strategic planning initiatives, contributing financial expertise and insights to support the achievement of organisational goals and objectives.
Profile
- Educational background with a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degrees such as an MBA or professional certifications like CPA would be advantageous.
- Substantial experience (minimum 10 years) in finance or accounting roles, with a track record of progressively increasing responsibilities and at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, with the ability to generate actionable insights and drive strategic decision-making.
- In-depth knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations, coupled with a keen understanding of manufacturing operations and cost management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong leadership abilities, including the capacity to motivate and develop a high-performing finance team, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and drive results in a dynamic environment.
- Analytic mindset with attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure while managing multiple priorities effectively.
