Role

AwanTunai is looking for a Head of Lending Capital who can originate capital from banks and institutional lenders and drive scaling our loan book.

Responsibilities 

• Understanding AwanTunai’s lending portfolio and setting growth targets with the management team
• Identify new lending capital opportunities and pitching to Banks and Institutional Lenders to obtain new/additional capital
• Negotiating covenants with the lenders to ensure smooth running of business and loan book operations
• Develop relationship management strategies to deepen, maintain or exit the relationship
• Working with the Sales and Risks team to understand capital requirements and limitations on capital deployed
• Working closely with the Head of Loan Operations to ensure there is no breach of covenants at all times
• Pro-actively manage the loan book quality on a daily basis
• Prepare credit proposals/credit renewals in a concise and timely manner while ensuring that the major risks as well as risk mitigates are highlighted

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent required, Master degree is preferred.
2. 7+ years of experience in Corporate Banking, preferably at a Financial Services and/or Banking or in a similar role at a lending fintech. Startup background will be a great advantage.
3. Great network within the banking community
4. Excellent communication, coordination and presentation skills, must be fluent both in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
5. Strong analytical skills with advanced spreadsheet and financial modeling capabilities.
6. Controls and process mindset with an attention to detail and accuracy in ensuring glitch-free loan operations.
7. Eagerness to learn and continuously improve the current loan operations and treasury process.
