In this position, you will join our growing Indonesia Built Environment business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of building and infrastructure projects. We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world’s economic development and, it is the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.

Project Delivery

• Responsible for the success of technical aspects of projects won or allocated.

• Responsible for providing technical expertise and overseeing all technical aspects of projects (i.e. perform the role of a technical expert) 

• Ensure the adequate contribution of technical knowledge and project experience to the competencies and services

Winning Work & Client Relationships

• Providing input to client proposals and tenders in conjunction with Business Development. This includes bid planning, facilitation, costing, writing, technical inputs and signoff as required. 

• Support for the ongoing marketing and promotion of the Aurecon brand through collaboration with Business Development.

Financial management

• Ensure financial performance of the allocated projects in accordance with client proposals, business plans and budgets

General Management  

• Responsible for the compliance to company policies and procedures, legislative requirements and act as a role model for Aurecon’s values and behaviors

• Demonstrate safety leadership in all aspects of Aurecon’s business

• Provide input into Unit or office business planning, as requested

What can you bring to the team? Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following:

• Required - degree in an appropriate professional field

• 5+ years’ relevant professional/technical experience and/or specialization in buildings/industrial buildings

• Experience in Data Centre or Telecommunications is preferred but not mandatory

• Demonstrated leadership and team management ability

• High level engineering consulting and client management skills

• Experienced in the delivery of major and/or complex design projects to blue chip clients

• Excellent communicator (in both English and Bahasa) with well-developed commercial, analytical and technical skills

• Sense-making communication skills, being able to explain complex engineering designs and solutions to non-technical audiences

• Experienced in delivering innovative and complex commercial building projects in a fast paced environment

• Experience or interest in managing projects from strategic and detailed planning, concept and detailed design
