About this position The Public Relations Officer is responsible for developing and implementing effective PR strategies to enhance the company's reputation and promote its products and services. This role involves managing media relations, organizing press releases, and coordinating events to ensure consistent and positive messaging. The Public Relations Officer reports directly to the Director of Marketing and Communications. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective public relations strategies and campaigns for the company.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
• Write and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other communications materials.
• Coordinate and manage media interviews, press conferences, and other media events.
• Monitor and analyze media coverage and provide regular reports to management.
• Respond to media inquiries and manage crisis communications effectively.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation.
• Plan and execute corporate events, sponsorships, and community engagement initiatives.
• Manage the company's social media presence and engage with online communities.
• Stay updated on industry trends, news, and best practices in public relations.

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field
• Proven experience working as a Public Relations Officer or in a similar role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong networking and relationship-building abilities
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
