Job Brief

Autobahn hiring is in full swing!! We are seeking exceptional QA Automation Engineers to help us build the Autobahn cyber security solution and deliver an exceptional user experience. We are looking for someone who does not only write automated tests but can decide what needs to be automated on which level, select appropriate tools for that, and create new automated test solutions of different test types. This role will also work closely with the DevOps team to help integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. The QA Automation Engineer will work within a squad (sprint team), ensuring a high degree of test automation for the squad's product domain.

Responsibilities

• Be the go-to person in automation related activities and processes
• Act as a sparring partner for Product Owner, e.g. with regards to acceptance criteria
• Plan, design, and implementation of automated test cases
• Manual test execution for new features which don't have automated tests yet
• Continuously improve our test automation stack and processes
• Expand our Web UI Automation and API Automation
• Perform reviews of other contributors' code
• Mentor other team members in automation related topics

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in a QA/tester role in a high-performing Agile development environment
• Relevant experience in web UI test automation with a modern test stack, e.g.: CodeCept.js, WebDriver.io, Cypress
• Extended knowledge of API testing tools and approaches, e.g. Postman/Newman, supertest
• Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Python
• Experience as QA in agile product development teams
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, GIT, Sauce Labs, and Test Management tools
• Experience with any of the following would be a plus: Docker, Kubernetes, BitBucket
